Our Beliefs

As members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada, we confess that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God, and proclaim Him as Savior and Lord of the world.

Our Faith and Practice

The membership of this church consists of those who unite as a body of Christ by confession of faith and baptism or those who transfer their membership from other churches by statement.  A letter of transfer is unnecessary.

We baptize by immersion as taught in the New Testament Church. We accept those who have been baptized and are comfortable with their baptism.

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper each time we meet to praise God. Christ is the host at the communion table. We practice “open” communion and come at His invitation. All who wish to participate are invited to do so.

Our Church Family

Through the power of the love of Christ, we seek to be bound together for worship, fellowship, and for service.  We seek to encourage and nurture each other by the gift of ministry bestowed on us by God’s Holy Spirit for the encouragement and building up of the entire church.  As family we seek to give strength to each other through love and prayer, and praising God through devotion, song, and action.  We seek to grow in awareness of our responsibility to proclaim Christ to those who do not know Him.  Knowing the great love Christ has for everyone, we welcome the new, the wandering, the poor, and the unloved.
